Yeah!

About a year ago I was hitchiking away from Stratford. I'd just spent the night at my granny's house and I was on my way to Portsmouth where I was going to catch a ferry to Spain to spend a month with my sister. A car went past me with a tall pole and what looked like a set of loudspeakers attached to the top of it. Is that the Google car? I wondered to myself. Looked like it.

It only Fucking was as well.

I am hitchiking on Google Street View! Look!!!!!!

Or if the link doesn't work, go to the 1st roundabout south of stratford on the A3400 and click on street view. I am there. With blonde fluffy hair! And my old blue suitcase! Damm, I loved that suitcase so much, I even hitched to Croatia with it once. That was before the hinges broke. RIP beautiful turquoise suitcase, immortalised again my friend.

This makes me so happy!!!!! I don't even know why!

Yes! You exist! I like how they blur your face. It was someone's job to go through and blur all the faces. Nice suitcase!

Whoa. I didn't realize how clear the google car pictures were. Now I understand why tons of people in Germany are freaking out and taking google to court over privacy issues.

For you a nice little moment captured though. Neat. :)

It's the moveable bit that gets me clickclack. How you can swivel around inside the picture and get a proper view of what it's like.

Another thing that I've noticed about Google Street View....zoom out of the map until you can see all the countries then pull the little gold man out of his corner and hover it over the sea. You can see which countries Google have visited and which they haven't. It's like a map of Google awareness.
Germany is blank, not covered. There's a tiny dot in South East Asia, zoom in a you can see it's Singapore. Eastern Europe isn't done yet, although they're starting with the Czech Republic.
Amazing.
